Chanting sutra, praying for rebirth of the spirit at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, and Buddhists at Hoang Phap Pagoda came to Dai Tong Lam pagoda in Vung Tau to pray for the rebirth of enlightening soul Thich Nu Nhuan Phuong on May 9th, 2020 (lunar April 17th, the year of rat).

Reportedly, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ba being born at Cu Chi, ordained at Dai Tong Lam pagoda with the name Thich Nu Nhuan Phuong, had practice very diligently. After a period of illness in old age, her children and grandchildren took care of medicine, chanted sutra, recited Buddha's name and repented. However, she passed away on May 8, 2020 (April 16th, year of rat), due to old age and weak health, lived at the age of 89 years old.

The Monks, Buddhists and his family had chanting sutra, reciting the Buddha and dedicating these merit for the soul early being born to a peaceful realm.

By this way, Venerable showed his condolences to the family. At the same time, he reminded the family members within 49 days should be vegetarian, recite Buddha's name and do all good deeds to dedicate merit to the soul to be born soon in peaceful realm. He also reminded her enlightening soul have to abandon attachments, recite Buddha's name mindfully and pray for reaching the Pure Land.

Her corpse was cremated at the cremation station of Long Huong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau on May 10th, 2020 (lunar April 18th, year of rat).
