Giving charity gifts of Dong Cao Pagoda

On Aug. 20th, 2019 (lunar at July 20th, the Year of the Pig), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda (Nga Yen, Nga Son, Thanh Hoa) organized a charity trip to support residents affected by the storm No. 3 in Son Thuy commune, Quan Son district, Thanh Hoa province.

It is known the storm No. 3 (on Aug. 01st - 04th ,   2019) has greatly influenced the residents in Muong Lat and Quan Son districts... those extremely need to help from all people. Responding to the appeal of the Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thanh Hoa province and the support spirit of donators near and far, Buddhists.. Dong Cao Pagoda gave 104 gift portions with money 56,000,000 VND. Each gift includes: 1 envelope 400,000 VND, 1 barrel of noodles, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar,.  to the region in suffering of the storm. 

Particularly, the Monk came to burn incense, visited and shared with the family of the dead, the injured one or the house completely collapsed in Son Thuy commune, Quan Son district. At the same time, the group presented gifts to families with died people including: 1 envelope with the amount of 2,000,000, VND together with gifts (instant noodles, cooking oil, sugar); Families with injured people or collapsed houses include: 1 envelope worth 1,000,000 VND and gift portions (instant noodles, cooking oil, sugar).

This is the effort support of the benefactors to help families stabilize their living.
