Giving gifts at kindergarten in Tra On, Vĩnh Long province

To motivate, encourage and facilitate poor pupils to go to school to study, from the open letter of Ms. Le Thi Nguyet Van - Principal of Nhon Binh Kindergarten. On the morning of May 26, 2018 (April 4th, year of the Dog), Venerable Thich Tam Hue and the Buddhists in the charity group went to Nhon Binh Kindergarten, Nhon Ngai hamlet, Nhon Binh commune, Tra On district, Vinh Long province granted 285 presents to disadvantaged children.

The ceremony took place solemnly with the presence of Venerable Thich Tam Hue, Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda, local authorities, teachers, parents and students. By the way, Venerable Thich Tam Hue also has some advice: The children are the pre-school of the country. They are like lotus flowers rising from the muddy water. No mud, no lotus, hope these "preschool" try to rise to to live a useful life.

In kindergarten, the group's charitable Hoang Phap pagoda   donated 285 gifts, including 170 gifts for students who did not win the title of advanced students. Each gift is 120,000 VND including 5 notebooks, 2   pencils, 1 crayon, 1 Buddha  chain, 1 face towel, 1 soap. The total amount of 170 gifts is VND 20,400,000. Particularly for 115 students who achieved the title of advanced students, besides the gift like other friends, the delegation donated 1 pair of books for each child, totaling 200,000 VND. The total amount of 115 gifts is 23,000,000 VND.

 With the help of local government, the given session was fulfilled in the joy of everyone. The total amount of 285 gifts is 43,400,000 VND. Before parting, the delegates donated to attendees of the ceremony a gift of security including: books "Still happy", " Unpredictable Blessing and Unluck" from the Venerable Thích Chân Tính, Buddha chain and rosary.

On the way back to Hoang Phap Pagoda, the delegation visited the house of a Buddhist in Tiền Giang province known as Le Van Quan, with Buddhist name of Tinh Quan, address: 28A Quarter 1, Ward 10, My Tho City in order to awarded merit to respond to the movement "People welcome Tathagata, everybody celebrates Buddha's birthday." This is a very meaningful work to offer to the Buddha on his birth day. 

By the way, the delegation purchased 17 mallards, 3 storks, 100 kg of mussels and escargots  with a total amount of 8,000,000 VND for release.
