Giving money in Binh Thuan to build house and release animals

The best suffering in life is in homeless situation. Vietnamese proverb says, the first is a leaky house, the second is a sick wife, the third is a debtor asks for payment.

From the opening letter of the People's Committee of Hong Liem commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province, on the morning of June 06th, 2018 (lunar Apr. 26th, Year of Dog), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda returned to Hong Liem commune to donate money to build a charity house for Le Van Lieu 40 years old in Liem Thuan village with his   child and wife. Both are hired freelancers; their child gets a big heart ‘s disease; so they monthly borrow money to go to Saigon for their child’s treatment. The tattered cottage has been razed by the storm no 10 in 2017 and it was only in the ground, without expense of rebuilding the new house. By the way, the group also went to Mr. Le Van Hai's house in the same village, 70 years old, poor family, losing the ability to work for many years. His current life is in very difficult condition. He lived alone in a corrugatedly old tin-roofed house, covered with tattered canvas, unable to be repaired. Looking at his old face, sunburned wrinkled, we felt pitiful of compassion for him. When receiving money his hand shook hands, did not say the words because of touching feeling.

The ceremony took place with the proof of the Junior Ven.Thich Tam Vien, the head of Hong Phap Pagoda, the leaders of local authorities in Hong Liem commune. By this, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue also encouraged the two families to renew themselves by living better. They should look for the temple based on honor monks’ and nuns’ taking refuge in the Three Jewels, keeping on the five precepts such as no killing,no stealing, no sexual misconduct, no lying, no using intoxicants. Do not kill creatures but release its living, eat vegetarian food, recite the Buddha’s names,  your life will be better. They also gave dharma presents to two families, and the local authorities including books on"Huong Phap", "With all the heart", DVDs on "On the ways", "Great love", necklaces of Buddha, strings of beads. The total amount of constructing two houses is 80 million VND supported by the Buddhist of pagoda Hoang Phap and Phan Thiet.

The group visited Phu Thuy market to buy some gu, chang chang, then tookTriratna refuge, recited the Buddha’s name and free them to the nature at Phan Thiet seaport.

On June 10th, 2018 (lunar Apr.27th,  Year of Dog), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda came Hoc Mon market to buy 540 kg of catfish, snakehead and carp with a total amount of money costs 17,920, 000 VND. Both groups rented cars to carry out large rivers, then took refuge Triratna, recited the Buddha and let them to the nature in water at the Binh My ferry (Cu Chi).
