Hoa Phuc Pagoda offered 215 portions of gifts in Ha Tinh Province

In the spirit of “Blessing and Wisdom Cultivating”, raising the mind of Buddhists’ virtue, proclaiming the Buddhist-truth, doing social charities as a guideline of cultivation as well as a way attracting Buddhists to study the Buddha preaching, in November 18 th 2017 (Lunar October 1st Roast Year) with the support of Junior Thich Tam Hoa- abbot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda (Quoc Oai – Ha Noi), charity group of Hoa Phuc Pagoda, led by Junior Thich Tam Giai, had a charity trip in Ky Thuong Commune, Ky Son Commune, and Thach Tan Commune, Ha Tinh Province.\r\n\r\n On account of a cooperation of Junior Ven. On account of a cooperation of Junior Ven. Thich Tam Nguyen and Buddhists from Giai Lam Pagoda (Ha Tinh Province), the Hoa Phuc Pagoda charity group came to People’s Committee of Ky Thuong Commune to support to 15 families from Ky Thuong and Ky Son Commune who have been extremely damaged after recent storm. They had lost many farm produces, facilities as well as houses. Each family was supported 10,000,000 VN dong and some gifts to recover and sustain their lives. The staff visited, encouraged and offered gift to Mr. Thue – a lonely old person in the commune - in difficult circumstance with a small extremely damaged house.

In the afternoon, the staff cooperated with Giai Lam Pagoda to offer 200 giftsincluding 500,000vnd/each - to the Buddhists of Thanh Tan Commune, including cash, 10kg of rice, and 2liters of oil, sugar and soup powder.

 Besides, the staff offered 250 life vests to the Military Headquarter – Stormy Preventing Department; 160 scarfs to Senior Citizen Association; hundreds of new clothes, toys to SOS children village and. The total gifts money in Ha Tinh Province offered by the staff was 250,000,000 VN dong.

 Chanh Duc Buddhists group donated 62,000,000 vn dong; got 32,000,000 vn dong from charity stalls â€œSelling as well as giving” to support people of the middle of Vietnam and the program “Books raising fund to people’s in the middle of Vietnam” of the young Buddhists group of Hoa Phuc Pagoda. The staff of VPBank, branch Thuy Khue donated 22,000,000 vn dong. 3G Transportation company donated 10,000,000VNd dong. Buddhist Thanh Mai gave 10,000,000 Vn Dong. Buddhists of Hoa Phuc Pagoda supported 114,000,000 Vn dong. We honestly praised the good seeds grown by all of people who contributed to hold a meaningful charity schedule.
