Inauguration of T6 Bridge and freeing creatures in Binh My

At the invitation of the chairman of People's Committee in Binh Giang Commune, on the morning of December 29th, 2018 (lunar Nov. 23rd, the year of Dog), Venerable Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda went to Lang Com hamlet, Binh Giang commune, Hon Dat district, Kien Giang province to attend the inauguration ceremony of the T6 bridge.

After spending more than 270 days to be faced by sun and rain, of tiredness and difficulties, the T6 bridge was completed as expected with a length of 42 m, width of 4.5 m. Total cost was 679,500,000 VND. In particularly, Hoang Phap Pagoda supported 95,000,000 VND, as well as the co-sponsors were Giac Ngo Pagoda, Buu Da Pagoda, Thanh Luong Pagoda and some other organizations and individuals.

Attending the ceremony were presenting the leaders of local authorities, representatives of pagodas and donators and individuals.

At the ceremony, Venerable Thich Tam Hue donated a dharma gift to the leaders of the government and attendees, such as Buddha necklaces, chain of beads, and the book "Some Words of Introduction About Hoang Phap Pagoda", "The Four Ways of Touching the Human Heart" wrote by the Venerable abbot.

Next, at the invitation of Mr. Danh No, the delegation came to Giong Rieng, Kien Giang, to chant and pray rebirth for a relative of him who had just died, would be born to the peace realm. At here, Venerable Thich Tam Hue gave a dharma gift  as Buddha necklaces, chain of beads, the book "Some Introduction Words About Hoang Phap Pagoda" wrote by the Venerable abbot. Ven reminded that members in the family must love, respect each other, should rely on the Three Jewels, because that is like a blessing field in the world. When practicing, we will get peace and contentment in this life as well as in the next life.

On the way back to Hoang Phap Pagoda, the delegation bought some snakehead fish, catfish, and perch, and recited the Buddha's name and freed them to the nature at Binh My and Cu Chi ferries.
