Medical Testing, Gift Offering in Cambodia and Creature Releasing

In joyful of Senior Venerable the Abbot of Hoang Phap Monastery, in the morning of 04th June 2018 (lunar 21st February Dog Year), the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda and charity group associated with Red Cross volunteering doctors in Ho Chi Minh City, doctors in An Nghiep humanitarian testing group of Can Tho city and Buddhists. The total is 270 people who arrived in Cambodia to exam and provided medicine and gave gilts to poor people in Phuoc Thien pagoda and Hoang Phap Cambodia.

The first destination was Phuoc Thien pagoda, Neakhoung Commune, PeamRon District, Prey Vang Province, Cambodia. Doctors tested mnny yhjings such as internal medicine, surgery, supersonic, dental checking, ect.,  provided medicine to 300 poor people. Each portion of medicine is worth of 100.000 vnd. The total medicine is 30.000.000vnd, including 10kg rice, an instant noodle box, 01 shirt, a string of beads,  Buddha necklaces, an envelop of 100.000vnd, 1bottle of cooking oil, 1bottle of soy sauce. The total of 300 portions is 105.000.000vnd. The total medicine and gifts at Phuoc Thien pagoda is 135.000.000vnd, in which 30.000.000 vnd is amount medicine of Red Cross volunteering doctors group. In the afternoon, group came to Hoang Phap pagoda in Wayrolum Commune, Sa Ang District, Kandal Province to give 300 portion gifts, each portions  is 350.000 vnd including: 10kg rice, 1 blanket, 1 1bottle of cooking oil, 1 1bottle of soy sauce, 1 Buddha necklace, 1   string of bead, 1 envelop of 100.000 vnd by Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda in Australia Tam Minh monk’s support. The total amount of 300 portions in Hoang Phap pagoda Cambodia is 105.000.000 vnd.

In the morning 27th April 2018 (lunar 23rd February Dog Year), the charity group came to pagoda at Co Dong mountain. In the mountain is Phnem Uđông pagoda in Psar Dek, Pnom Bat Commune, Ponhea Leu District, Kan Dal Province. It is 14km north of Pnom Penh City. It needed to go up 500 footsteps to reach the pagoda. The group climbed to the pagoda and recited Buddha’s name while walking to pay homage to the Buddha. On the way back to Hoang Phap Pagoda, the charity group bought 36 moorhens, 07 teals, 16 cuckoos, 60 sparrows. The charity group recited the Buddha’s name while releasing creatures to the nature.

The total amount of charity trip in Phuoc Thien pagoda and Hoang Phap Cambodia is 240.000.000 vnd. Ms. Bich Huong, Ms. Dieu Thien. Ms. Ngan, monks Tam Minh of Hoang Phap in Australia and the Buddhists are present in this charity trip supported.  Grateful to Tam Truc monk, Duc An monk, Red Cross volunteer doctors group in Ho Chi Minh City, doctors in An Nghiep humanitarian examination group of Can Tho city and Buddhists supported to made the trip succeed in Cambodia.
