“Offering for the Buddha‘s statue sculpture”

Dear Good Man and Believing Woman, Hoang Phap pagoda has currently had over a hundred monks who are attending Buddhist degree schools of primary, intermediary, college and university. After finshing their Buddhist studying, all these Junior Ven. will have appointed, also be supported for abbots at the branches.

The pagoda of Junior Ven. Thich Tam Quoc is one branch of Hoang Phap Pagoda. It will be named “Dac Phap pagoda”, located in the hill belonging to hamlet 9, Nam No Giang commune, Dac Song district, Dac Nong province. Beside the pagoda is Highway 14, a stream and fen undernearth;  opposite Highway Saigon – Daklak. It is planned to build the Main Hall from the road 15 meters in slope site. It will be a spirit house for all Buddhists who will return to cultivate to get peacefulness and enlightenment.

In many years, as the Chief of Charity Board of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue has mobilized all Buddhists to support and help with the branches. To show respect and gratitude to the Buddha, the Founder and the Master of Hoang Phap Pagoda, he raised budget for the statue sculpture of Sakyamuni Buddha by red wooden, six meters high, about -  four tons weight and put at the Main Hall of Dac Phap Pagoda

Understanding the benefits from building pagodas, sculpting statue, casting bell, all Buddhists everywhere gladly afforded to buy 15m3 of red wood which costs more than 500 million VND. Mr. Chung is a young sculpture (address 27 Highway 22, Trung Chanh hamlet, Trung Chanh commune, Hoc Mon district, HCMC) who sculpted a doussie wood statue of five meters high for Gia Lam Pagoda in HaTinh province. The total money for labour  and wood to sculpt the statue is 750 million VND. Currently, all Buddhists have donated 416,1 million VND. It is lack of 333,9 million VND, from support by charity organizers, domestic and oversea donators so that the statue is early finished as expected.
