Supplying a Charity House In Tien Giang Province

In the morning of Jan. 10th, 2018 (lunar Nov. 24th, Rooster of Year), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhist of Hoang Phap Pagoda had a trip supplying a charity house in Tien Giang Province.

It is known that Ms. Ho Thi Phuong Loan is forty three years old, her husband is Tran Van Tan Chung, 44 years old, and her daugher is Tran Thi My Dien, 16 years old. The whole family have lived in the tottering canvas for many years, which is unable to be repaired. Ms. Phuong Loan gets ovariotomy cancer in the last period, whose time is no longer alive. So, she hoped before passing away, she would have a house as a resident for her daughter. How enormous the mind of mother is! Following her mother’s love, Dien has studied very well and had the credits yearly although her family is invery difficult condition.

Understanding her thought, Mr. Tran Van Chinh enthusiastically gives her a piece of land for house building. Over one month of constructing, accompanying with the support of local authority, Mr. Chinh, Ms. Lien Chau’s family, the Red Cross Thien Tam, etc., currently, the house have finished (No 413, Nhat Tan hamlet, Tan Binh Thanh commune, Cho Gao district, Tien Giang province). The money of constructing is more than 45 million dong. It concluded of interior expense such as 1 record DVD, 1 Tivi, 1 cabinet of wooden alter, 1 double bed, 1 sect of chair and a table by inox, a fan, etc., the money of constructing and interior tools was fifty two million dong. The Lien Chau Buddhist’s family donated 45 million dong for construction, Ms. Ibung (Lien Oanh) gave 7 million dong for interior equipments.

The granting was witnessed by Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda, two Nuns at Thien Duc Pagoda in Soc Trang Province, local authority, the Thien Tam Red Cross. On behalf of the charity group, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue had some words to share, encourage Ms. Loan’s family who should take in Triratna refuge, do good deeds which helps transfer current karmas and do a good example to descendant so that they get good result in the future.

After the time of house giving, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and all Buddhists honored the rite of putting the statue of Bodhi Alokitesvara so that its appearance helps Ms. Loan’s family get a spirit supporting, imitates Her example. On behalf of the group, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue gave the mass a dharma gift such as a Buddha necklace, a string of Bodhi, the book of “The Consequence of Animal Killing”, “Knowing Mistakes and its Correcting” wrote by Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh.

Last words, the Junior Ven. thanked to Ms. Lien Chau’s family, Ms. Oanh, the authority of Tan Binh Thanh commune, the Thien Tam Red Cross, Ms. Bay, Tuyet, Thoa, etc., who supported budget during the time of home constructing until the presentation of house giving has finished perfectly.
