Supporting cancer patients to attend One-Day Practice

On the occasion of One - Day Practice on March 06th, 2022 at Hoang Phap pagoda, monks and Oncology Club assisted 30 patients at Cancer Hospital who gathered at the pagoda to attend the Retreat.

After  the breakfast, all practitioners gathered at the Dharma Wheel Building to begin reciting Buddha's name, walking meditation and chanting precepts. Next, the audience listened to a dharma talk from Junior Thich Dao Quang with the topic named Mad love and mad hate.

In the afternoon, the mass had time to chant the sutra, recite Buddha's name and sit quietly together.

The Junior gave 30 gifts to cancer patients. Each gift is 200,000 VND, including an envelope of 100,000 VND and a gift with the amount of 100,000 VND.

The total of this gift is 6,000,000 VND, in which Ms. Phuong Ngoc supports 3,000,000 VND of money in the envelope, Ms. Ut Sanh supports all gifts.

The gift is small, but the patient feels the compassion of the senders because there are still many people helping to share, love and motivate them overcoming the disease.
