The ceremony praying for rebirth in Long An Province and Hoc Mon District

On 25th November, 2018 (Lunar October 19th, Dog Year)m in response to family Buddhist’s, the monk and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh came to a household at Ben Luc village town, Ben Luc District, Long An Province attended to meal for monks, to pray for rebirth of soul Mrs. Nguyen ThiAnh, Buddha name Lien Anh, die on Lunar 19th September Dog Year, lived 83 ages.

On 26th November, 2018 (Lunar October 20th), the request of the Buddhist family, the monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda came to house at No. 3/57, Hamlet 1, Dong Thanh Commune, Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City, to pray for rebirth of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mai’s soul, Buddhist name Ngoc Tam, died on Lunar September 01st Dog Year, lived 92 ages.

In the ceremony, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hue praised the spirit of dutiful piety of a Buddha‘s disciple and reminded : “Everyone should keep the image of mother in their heart, respectfully beloved for the unconditional sacrifice that that mother has devoted to the descendants. Life is in short impermanent, we do not live selfishly, only receive the love from parents but forget the responsibility of gratitude. We should practice eating vegetarian food, reciting the Buddha, avoiding doing evil, do good, pray dedicately for late  parents’ soon rebirth in peace realms, the current parents increasing blessed and long ages”.

On the way back to the pagoda, the group came Hoc Mon market to buy some fish. After taking refuge, praying the Buddha, they released them to the nature at Binh My ferry terminal, Cu Chi.

 We are gratefulness to the donators such as, the Buddhists in and outside the country who together successfully  supported the charity trip and releasing creatures.
