The rite of praying for rebirth and offering to Monks at Hoang Phap Pagoda

On March 7th, 2020 (on Feb. 14th, the rat year), buddhist Vu Thi Mui (Dharma name Hoa Dao) 's family offered almsgiving to the Sangha at Hoang Phap Pagoda in order to pray rebirth for her mother, Pham Thi Ty (Dharma name Liên Tâm) with the age of 88.
Reportedly, Mrs. Pham Thi Ty in Phuong Hamlet, Nam Duong, Nam Truc, Nam Dinh, due to illness of old age passed away on Jan. 27th, 2020 (Jan. 3rd, 2010), aged 88.
On the sixth time in seven week offering of her mother, the whole family hold a rite towards the Three Jewels to make offering to ten-direction Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and current Monks and Nuns.
At 9 am, monks and Buddhists chanted texts for rebirth on Hoang Phap Pagoda's main hall. Next, it is to chant to offer meal for her soul at Linh tower.
In the afternoon, the monks and Buddhists had a time to chant the Sutta Ksihitigarbha and offer food to alone souls.
On this occasion, the monks gave gifts of Dharma to the family, including Huong Phap magazine No 16, Lessons for Kids, A Gift of Spring.
