Transferring a varan to the ranch of wild animals

Releasing creatures is giving freedom to all beings. Therefore, its merit is boundless. Understanding this truth, in the morning of April 24th, 2018 (lunar Mar. 10th, Year of Dog) Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and the Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda brought animals for the releasing.

The group brought a varan, weighing 2,1 kgs, valued at 1,1 million dong. Then, it is transferred to the support ranch of wide animals in Dau Tieng. The animal’s doctor injected a support medicine before taking into animal cage. Currently, there were two varans in multiplication. They can live both on land and in water. When being put into the cage, it swum in the lake joyfully and then landed the bank to make friend with the others. Hoping that these parents will give birth many healthy children. The ranch that is in the condition   of building faces with difficulties.  Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue supported two million dong to take care of animals like turtles, black chichens, gnus, lizards, ect. at the ranch.

 On the way returning to the pagoda, the group bought snakeheads, frogs to Ben Nay bridge at Cu Chi to free them to the nature after their reciting Buddha’s name and taking Triratna refuge.

The next day on April 26th, 2018 (lunar Mar. 11th, Year of Dog), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue received a python from Ms. Lien Chau’s asking for the Junior Ven. to let it free in the nature. This is the kind of slow and harmless boa; one of three kinds of python which are listed on the red book of the group 2B. Its head is long, small and has a brown grey color. Its side on head had an image of arrow along its neck up to the mouth. This animal kind is seriously disappearing because they lose resident places and were skilled. It belongs to the kind banned for being exploited and proceeded. Junior Ven Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists transferred it to the ranch of wild animals in Dau Tieng. It weighs 6,5 kgs and 2,5m long. The ranch doctors tested its mouth, infected healthy medicine, put into cage some days for restoring its health. After that, it will be brought to U Minh upper forest for being nourished and conserved.
