Announcement of the 2026 Children's Summer Retreat - Temporary Ordination

Dear Parents and Young Practitioners,
– A meaningful summer, a journey to nurture the soul –
Hoang Phap Pagoda continues to organize the 2026 Children's Summer Retreat – Temporary Ordination– to provide children with a healthy environment to learn Buddhist teachings, cultivate morality, develop compassion, filial piety, and live responsibly with practical and rich content.
❖ This retreat is completely free!
❖Registration period: May 24, 2026 (register in person at Hoang Phap Pagoda until the maximum number is reached)
❖ Number of participants: 500
❖Registration requirements:
o Photocopy of the participant's birth certificate
o Retreat participants aged 10 to 12 in good health, with a sense of independence and a progressive spirit.
o Participation time: from June 7, 2026 – June 12, 2026
❖ Entry date: June 7, 2026
❖Retreat content:
• Listening to Dharma teachings and learning basic Buddhist doctrines.
• Walking meditation, chanting scriptures, practicing mindfulness in daily life.
• Cultural and artistic activities, folk games, and life skills.
• Socializing, sharing, and building friendships in the spirit of harmony.
• Special: The “Temporary Ordination” program helps children experience monastic life for a short period to sow the seeds of Bodhi, cultivating a pure and bright spiritual mind.
