Beginning to chant the Emperor Liang's Repentance Sutra for the Rain Retreat, Buddhist calendar 2670 | Hoang Phap Pagoda

Hoang Phap Pagoda officially opened Emperor Liang’s Repentance Sutra for the Rain Retreat, Buddhist calendar 2570 with the participation of numerous devout men and women and Buddhists at 2:00 p.m on June 2nd, 2026.

 This is a powerful repentance sutra that helps practitioners understand their sins and merits by each verse. Chanting the Emperor Liang ‘s Repentance in the Rain Retreat is extremely necessary in the practice of monks and Buddhists, helping each practitioner proactively avoid evil deeds created by greed-anger-ignorance, diligently perform good deeds so that karmic obstacles are eliminated, and blessings are increased.

 

After the sutra, the mass took commemorative photos with Head Master Thich Chan Tinh and the monks on the beginning day.
