Beginning with the chanting ritual for the Horse early year 2026 at Hoang Phap Pagoda

Hoang Phap Pagoda officially opened the chanting ritual at 6 PM on Feb. 24th, 2026 (the 8th day of Jan. of L.C), a crowd of Buddhist men and women came to the pagoda to attend the ceremony.

Hundreds of Buddhists from all over returned to the Pagoda to participate in the recitation of the Lotus Sutra, Chapter 24 on the first day of the spring season. Reciting sutras is a virtuous doing for Buddhists to cultivate genuine faith in the Three Jewels, and relying on Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara's honor vows to develop compassion, practice altruistic conduct according to Her twelve vows, thereby nurture a fearless mind that remains steadfast in the face of life's obstacles.
