Buddha's Birthday Ceremony at Quang Phap pagoda, Tay Ninh, Buddhist Calendar 2570 - Solar Calendar 2026

The ceremony was witnessed by Senior Thích Quảng Tâm, Member of the Executive Council, Deputy of the Central Social Charity Board, Head Director Board of province’s Vietnam Buddhist Sangha/ VBS, along with Venerable monks, Deputy of the Director Board of Tay Ninh province’s VBS, and Venerable Abbots attending the ceremony; On the government side, Mr. Trần Minh Nay – Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion of Tay Ninh province, along with other leaders in the delegations and a large number of Buddhists also attended.
Next, Senior Thich Quang Tam read the Vesak 's Message, B.E 2570 by the VBS 's Dharma-Lord, Chief Most Thich Tri Quang; Junior Thích Huệ Chơn jointly read the Buddha's Birthday address by Most Thích Thiện Nhơn, Chairman of VBS 's Executive Council. These two messages are profound teachings emphasizing the spirit of unity and harmony, encouraging all Buddists to promote the core values of Buddhism—compassion and wisdom—in contemporary life. Then, the Sangha and all attendees solemnly performed the sacred rituals of offering incense, chanting, and bathing the newborn Buddha. This ritual holds special significance, as bathing the infant Buddha helps to cleanse the anxieties and worries of each person; it is also a moment to connect with the Buddha and recognize the Buddha within ourselves. The Buddha's Birthday celebration at Quang Phap Pagoda (Tay Ninh) concluded successfully in the participants' joy.
Last, the Director Board of the province's VBS along with local government leaders, presented gifts to the Quang Phap pagoda monks, an activity demonstrating the deep concern and close relationship between the government and the local Buddhist Sangha.
