Ceremony Of Remembering And Repaying Gratitude

Up to present, Hoang Phap pagoda has 32 branches in the country and overseas, that are establishing and developing. During a year-long operation there, abbots of temples and monastery branches returned to rely on their background refuge with noble and the mass. This was a precious opportunity to grow the master-learner spirit, tight fraternity. The meeting was also an opportunity for teachers to exchange experiences on the way of preaching in all parts of the country and contribute their views to growing the Sangha better and greater.
After the ritual reciting the Buddha, Venerable Thich Tam Thanh, on behalf of the monks, offered the Master gratitude. In response to the public's heart, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, abbot at Hoang Phap temple, had some words encouraging them.
First, the Venerable praised the mass and disciples’ spirit offering their teacher the gratitude Therefore, ii is said that Ullambana is the time the Buddhas are happy; this anniversary showing gratitude to ancestors is the time the Master is happy. And this was the greatest joy of masters on the day.
Next, the Venerable read three Suttas. This is what the Buddha taught to identify their practice and propagation; besides, it built the Sangha
more powerful, that is:
1. As Buddhists, we must inherit a fortune of Dharma (Central 1, DhammadÄyÄda Sutta)
2. This is seven non-receded Dharma to build Shanga quality (chapter 1, Mahaparinirvana)
3. There are two congregations, that is: The scum congregation and elite congregation.
We need to know clearly to build an elite congregation (Angutara-Nikaya 1, chapter 2, he Syndrome).
This is the Buddha's teachings, but this was also the words that the Venerable wanted to remind the monks although they are practicing Buddhist’s activities or still rely on the public to study. Achievement of this approach helps practice and propagate the faith of Buddhists generally and Hoang Phap‘s monks particularly. Be sublimated and attain achievements. If impossible,, the preaching will be very easy for the Sangha coming down and depraving. So the Venerable particularly emphasized in three verses of Suttas to the monks’ attention to their way in both present and future. After that, the monks listened to the draft of the basic rules to build the unity of the Hoang Phap’s Sangha and branches. Next, the subsidiary Venerables expressed opinions to develop a draft to be more complete, and presented the achievements and challenges during the religious practices.
The ceremony ended with the Venerable Abbot’s summary from their opinion build the Sangha and branch relation under the same Patriarchal Dharmadutha.
