Ceremony Taking Triratna Refuge at Cu Linh pagoda.

The Triratna is the first step to become the Buddhist in Tathagata ‘s Dharma. Beside that it was the important step in cultivation process so they can improve themselves. Therefore, in the ceremony the Senior explained the value of being a human body who lives in peaceful country. Moreover, he showed the profit of taking refuge in Tree Treasures, which became a real Buddhist and kept five precepts- five basic rules about human being of virtue.
On all those meanings, in the solemn and restful atmosphere, on the propection from Buddhas in ten directions, on the serene witness from venerable monks and nuns, all young people, in unique decision, received the transmission of Tree Treasures Refuge and five basic principles of human to become a true Buddhist.
Before the ceremony ended, the Senior Ven. taught about their responsibility dealing with themselves, family, the society, Triratna, and Dharma.
On this ceremony, books of “Brief history of “Sakyamuni Buddhaâ€, “Tree Treasures-Five Preceptsâ€, “Human Lifeâ€, “Still Having Happinessâ€, DVDs of “Sunflower 7â€, “Triratna Refuge Takingâ€; and VCDs of “Don’t be greedy in strange things†were given to them
