Charity Affair in Central Provinces of Viet Nam

During April 11th and 14th, 2016 ( March 5th – 8th), Hoang Phap Pagoda combined with Medical Humanitarian Organization of An Nghiep Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City, Doctors in Binh Duong and Lam Dong Provinces came to local areas to examine and donate 870 gifts to the poor from Khanh Hoa to Quang Tri.

On the morning of April 11th, 2016 ( March 5th, Monkey Year) at Suoi Mit Village, Ninh Tay Commune, Ninh Hoa District, Khanh Hoa Province, the delegation donated 50 gifts including rice, noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, jacket shirts, canvas bags, necklaces, pictures of the Avalokitesvara Buddha, which had the value of 230,000 VND per each for poor ethnic minorities. The charity amount of Suoi Mit hamlet is 11.500.000 VND.

In the evening of April 12th, 2016 ( March 6th, Monkey Year), in People's Committees of Cua Viet Village, Gio Linh Commune, Quang Tri Province, the group donated 400 gifts (230,000 VND / portion) to poor people living in the past war region. The charity amount for Cua Viet market village is 92 million dong. Then,the group made offerings at Cam Lo Pagoda and chanting requiem for the deceased soldiers in Ha Loc Pagoda.

 

On the morning of April 13th, 2016 ( March 7th, Monkey Year), the delegation came to Phong Hoa Village, Phong Dien District, Thua Thien Hue Province donated to the poor in the village 200 gifts (230,000 VND / part). They visited and donated one million VND envelopes and gifts to Mr. Lan - the deaf - in My Xuyen village. The sum for charity in Phong Hoa Commune is 47 million VND. In the afternoon, the delegation came to Dong Ba Market - Hue and bought some snails, fish to have a release.

On April 14th, 2016 ( March 8th, Monkey Year),  at clinics of Cat Tan Village, Phu Cat District, Binh Dinh Province, the delegation examined and gave free medicineto 250 poor people in the commune  (a part of drug is worth 100.000 VND). Ophthalmology doctors examined and gave 120 aged glasses to them. The group also donated 220 gifts (230.000 VND each) to the poor. Amount Charity of Cat Tan Commune is 54.200.000 VND.

The total amount of charity is 204.700.000 VND from Buddhists: Ton Tho Hoai Huong, Lien Van, Ms. Ngan - Trang Nguyen Company, Ms. Ngoc Duyen, Ms. Yen, Tinh Trang Uncle, Tinh Tri, Ms. My Hoa, Ms. My Le, Cuong Uncle, Ms. Lien Kieu, Ai Nu, Ms. Oanh ( Bien Uncle’s son), Tinh Thang, Chieu Xuan, Ms. Nguyen Thi Se, Uncle Tri Thanh, Ms. Mai Lien, Ms. Lien Ha and buddhists living near and far. Medical Humanitarian Organization supported 25 million dong drug money. Mr. Phuong in Cu Chi, Tinh Chien, MS. Ngoc Boi donated clothes, T-shirts, canvas bags. Ms. Lien Van supported transportation.
