Charity and Animal Release in Can Tho City

In the morning of August 8th, 2014 (July 13rd, Horse Year), Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda had a charity trip and animal release in Can Tho City.

\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

On support to poor pupils who are about to go to school in\r\nthe new school year, the delegation came to Cai Khe 2 Elementary School, Cai\r\nKhe ward, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho province  to offer 150 presents\r\n(valued at 18,090,000VND).  Each of them was 10 notebooks and 1\r\nschoolbag (120,600VND/a portion)

The Ven. was so moved when he knew that management school\r\nhad tried their best to help very poor pupils but they only presented 15\r\nportions on last year. This year, with 150 portions granted was the great happiness\r\nfor both pupils and the leading staff. All teachers were very delighted to\r\nreceive dharma presents of DVDs such as “A Path to the Enlightenment”, “Thi\r\nKinh Avalokitesvara” and some chains of garland.

 Next time,  the charity trip came  the\r\nmarket 20, Cai Khe ward to buy nearly of  230 kgs of fish, eels,\r\n  frogs (valued at over 11 millions VND), then they passed Con Phuong\r\nto release them, which  was vowed transferring their merit blessing\r\nto the  late ancestors on the Ullambana season of pious gratitude\r\nfrom the Buddhists.
