Charity Board: Restaurant opening ceremony and putting Buddha statue at Bat Buu Vegetarian Restaurant, District 3, HCMC

With the joyful acceptance of Junior Abbot Thich Tam Truong of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Hue, monks, and Buddhists came to Bat Buu vegetarian restaurant, Ward 5, District 3, HCMC to hold the restaurant opening ceremony and put up a Buddha statue.

The ritual had the presence of Junior Thich Tam Hue, Monks, Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Diem - the owner and staff in the restaurant.

 

The rite was started by lighting incense to the Buddha altar. In reverent moments, the Sangha and Buddhists wholeheartedly prayed to sprinkle pure water, chanted scriptures Dharma-Flower, the ritual of offering food to lone souls, and putting Buddha statue, etc., then, vowed to dedicate all merit and goodness to the restaurant attaining prosperous and smooth business.

 

Junior Thich Tam Hue gave book gifts to members in the restaurant, including a handbook named A brief Introduction of Hoang Phap monastery; a book named Practice at home in this chance.

 

On behalf of the Restaurant owner, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Diem sincerely showed her gratitude to the Most Master, the Abbot, Monks and Buddhists of the pagoda. The peaceful and solemn ceremony closed in joy for the participants.
