Charity Board: The beginning rite to sculpt a Buddha statue offering to Lưu Ly temple in Phú Thọ

Junior Thich Tam Hue, monks, Buddhists attended a statue Buddha Shakyamuni carving rite of Diệu Nghiêm factory at Hóc Môn, TP. HCM on June 03rd, 2025.

Attending the ceremony were the presence Junior Thich Tam Hue, Head of the temple Charity Board, Junior Thich Tam The, who is currently managing for the Luu Ly temple in Phu Tho; monks, Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda, sculptor Lê Văn Chung, members of statue carving facility.

 

The mass respectfully chanted mantras and recited the Buddha name which prayed for the statue to be completed soon.

 

   It is known the Buddha statue will be carved about 3,5 high meters, weighing 3,5 tons, made of Red Wood to put in a meditative posture on a lotus platform, majestic.

 

  The estimated time of completion will be in August, 2025. This statue was offered by some Buddhists to Luu Ly temple where it is for people and local Buddhists to contemplate and worship.

 

Buddhist Dieu Thien and the family volunteered to donate wood and the cost of carving the statue of 280,000,000 VND by the mobilization from Junior Thich Tam Hue.

 

The ceremony was completed in the joy of the mass.
