Charity Board: Three-Jewel Refuge Ceremony at Trung My Tay Ward, District 12, HCMC

Monks, Junior Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda arrived to a private house of Mr. Huynh Van Huu, 83 years old and Mrs. Dinh Thi Nga, 84 years old in Trung My Tay Ward, District 12, HCMC to make a rite of refuge in the Three Jewels on March 18th, 2025.

With faith in the Three Jewels and hope to become Buddhists in spite of the old and weak, Mr. Huynh Van Huu, Mrs. Dinh Thi Nga and their family earnestly invited monks to come to their home to transmit Three Refuges and Five Precepts. On behalf of Hoang Phap Pagoda ’s the Most Master, Junior Thich Tam Hue transmitted Three Refuges and Five Precepts to Mr. Huynh Van Huu, dharma name/ DN Tinh Huu; Mrs. Dinh Thi Nga, DN Lien Nga.  He praised the family and encouraged Buddhists to be filial, diligently do good deeds, practice vegetarianism, recite Buddha's name, and study the teachings to have a good life. After the ritual, the monks presented gifts of Dharma to all Buddhists.
