On Sunday, October 25, 2026, Hoang Phap Pagoda organized a creature release ritual at Binh My Ferry in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City.

At 8:00 AM, the monks and Buddhists gathered at the main hall to devoutly chant prayers and administer the Three Refuges to over 1.5 tons of fish. Afterward, all participants arrived at Binh My Ferry to release the fish into the wild amid great joy.

Held on a monthly basis, this activity offers Buddhists an opportunity to join in wholesome deeds with the pagoda. Through the act of releasing living beings, participants cultivate the Four Immeasurable—loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity—while striving to live a virtuous and peaceful life.
