Dharma preaching at Phat Quang Pagoda, Pennsylvania - United States

In the evening Sep 13 – 14, 2016, Venerable Thich Chan Tinh had a Dharma talk at Phat Quang pagoda, Pennsylvania, United States.

During the session, the Venerable said that most people in life were more likely dreamy drinkers, immersed in the cycle of birth and death. They blamed others for the sufferings they had to bear without recognizing that the current effects were the results of their past deeds. There was only a few of people who could realize the Truth of this life with impermanence, selfless and endless cycle of reincarnation.

If we would like to live in ease and peace, we should be always awake, skillfully use our body, speech and thought as the tools carrying out good deeds, free ourselves from attachment of the “self”, the “mine”, follow Buddha ' Shakyamuni as the great example of renunciation, compassion and adopt his valuable teachings.

At the end of the Dharma talk, the Venerable presented DVD film “Searching for the Enlightenment” as Dharma gifts to the audience.
