In response to the invitation of Venerable Abbot Thich Hanh\r\nTin, Ven. Thich Chan Tinh came to Huyen Trang pagoda in Bau Coi hamlet, Bao\r\nQuang village, Long Khanh town, Dong Nai province to have a Dharma talk to\r\nBuddhists in the morning of February 24th 2014 (Lunar January 25th Horse year)

In Sukhavati Vyuha Sutra 2, the Buddha taught that four\r\ntypes of mild, tamed horses:

The first kind of horse, when seeing the shadow’s stick\r\nhorse trainer immediately, it fears and obeys.

The second kind of horse, when being stabbed into the skin\r\nby a horse-trainer’s stick immediately, it fears and obeys.

The third kind of horse, when being stabbed into the body by\r\na horse-trainer’s stick immediately, it fears and obeys.

The fourth kind of horse, when being stabbed into the bone\r\nby a horse-trainer’s stick immediately, it fears and obeys.

From the four types of horse, the Buddha taught all monks\r\nhave four types of mild, kind people.

The first kind of monks, when hearing others’ sufferings,\r\nimmediately feel enlightened towards Dharma practices.

The second kind of monks, when seeing others’ sufferings,\r\nimmediately feel enlightened towards Dharma practices.

The third kind of monks, when seeing their relatives’\r\nsufferings, immediately feel enlightened towards Dharma practices.

The fourth kind of monks, when suffering themselves,\r\nimmediately feel enlightened towards Dharma practices.

The Venerable deployed Dharma for over an hour. No matter\r\nhow enlightenment level, we, being good karma people, should practice Dharma.

Ending the talk, a DVD of  â€œHoang Dao” (Paths of\r\nPropagation).
