Dharma Talk at Khanh Anh Ashram, San Jose, California, US

The monastery is located on a hill, overlooking the city of San Jose,\r\n California. The delegation had the honor paying homage to Most Venerable\r\n Thich Thang Hoan, who has been a celebrity in Buddhism clergy, a great\r\n teacher in Buddhism propagation in the United States.

After that, the delegation kept on its trip visiting Kim Thanh\r\n Pagoda, a branch of City Of Ten Thousand\r\n Buddhas founded by the Most Venerable Hsuan Hua.\r\n The delegation had a tour through places as main shrine, library…, as well as\r\n asked for further information of the pagoda.

In the afternoon, the Senior Venerable delivered a Dharma talk at Khanh\r\n Anh ashram. He talked about the compounded conditions that led to the opportunity\r\n meeting with Buddhists there. He also explained some details of Pure-Land\r\n School. Buddhists should acknowledge that this Buddhism School is not only\r\n for the elderly or dying people but also for everyone. He emphasized that Buddha’s\r\n name recitation offers bliss and ease to practitioners in present and future,\r\n instead of being the lifebuoy for dying people only.
