In the talk, the Sen. Ven. told the news on a website of May\r\n20th Vnexpress titled: “Teacher stealing the safe of schoolâ€. Mr.\r\nVan who teaches in Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary school, Quang Nam province was\r\naccused
By the reason of register pupil scores, in the\r\nafternoon Nhan, in the morning May 17th, 2015, Mr. Van came to school and\r\nborrowed a key from a guardian. After getting the key, he invited the guard to\r\nhave a drink. Until the guard was drunk, he and Lanh opened the door, took\r\nmoney from the safe but failed. After that, they brought the safe to the oxcart\r\nwhich was waiting in the school yard, carried in home and they took 130 million\r\nfrom the safe. Then they were discovered and arrested. The news of a teacher\r\nstealing the school’s safe caught attention in public. If the theft is a person\r\nwho is an illiterate person, a wanderer, or drug addicted one, it will not be\r\npaid any attention, but he is a teacher, an intellectual person; therefore, his\r\naction is so clumsy. Finally, he lost all things which were money, prestige,\r\njobs and most seriously pupils’ faith.
From this story, the Sen. Ven. reminded Buddhists must think\r\nabout the consequences of each action.
Buddhists must preserve five things: No killing, no\r\nstealing, no adultery, no lying and no drinking. There has no any reason to\r\ndisobey religious taboos which affect to themselves, their family and even\r\nBuddhist’ reputation. If they keep the above five things, they will have a\r\npeaceful and happy life at present as well as in future.
In the end of thje preaching Buddhist were given a VCD named\r\n“Don’t Indulging in Unusual Things.â€
