Dharma Talk at Ninh Tao Pagoda – Ha Nam province.

In the evening of June 18, 2016 (May 14, Monkey year), Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh visited Ninh Tao pagoda (Khanh Long), Ninh Tao Village, Thanh Binh ward, Thanh Liem city, Ha Nam province, to have a Dharma talk to the Buddhists. The Venerable was invited by Bhadanta Thich Dao Duyet, who was the Abbot of Ninh Tao pagoda.

During the speech, the Venerable spoke about the meaning of Ksama. It contained with “recognizing the mistakes” and “do not relapse”. We have all done mistakes. Mistakes are caused of passion, anger and ignorance, which are done by actions or spoken; some known, some unknown. By learning Dharma, listening to the Venerable, or reading Liang Wu Ti’s Repentance sutra, we recognized our mistakes. Therefore, we tried our best to improve our manners and our attitudes.

 

  There are four ways to recognize mistakes and fix it:

1/ Read the Sutra, listen to Dharma and recite the Sutra such as Liang Wu Ti’s Repentance

2/ Ask people to show us our mistakes whenever they found them out, so we would know what need to be fixed.

 

3/ Often think about our thoughts, words and actions.

 

4/ Be happy and thank to people who showed us our mistakes.

 

  At the end of the speech, Venerable gave attendants VCD “Eight Kinds of Dharma In The World” as gifts.
