Dharma Talk at Saigon Kitchen, San Jose - California

In the evening of Oct 17, 2017, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh delivered a Dharma talk to devout Buddhists at Saigon Kitchen.

According to him, Buddha is not a God giving blesses or punishments,\r\n but a great leader instead. Buddha teaches a lot of practicing methods as\r\n Buddha name recitation, sitting meditation, mantra recitation… for us to select\r\n a proper one. We are more likely patients who need specific prescription/practicing\r\n method on our path to liberation. Every method is the best that we should not\r\n praise or criticize any of those. Buddhist should have the right view in\r\n considering proper method for his/her own. Regardless whatever method we\r\n choose, the ultimate goal of cultivation is promoting   morality-concentration-wisdom,\r\n decreasing greed-hatred-delusion via cultivating speech- thought-action. Such\r\n regular practicing will lead to daily peace and happiness.
