Donating money to build a charity house in Long My, Hau Giang of Charity Board

In the morning July 14th, 2023 the Charity Department of Hau Giang Budddhist Director Board, and Hoang Phap Pagoda came to Binh Thanh C hamlet, Binh Thanh ward, Hau Giang to witness giving a charity house costs 50,000,000 to teacher Nguyen Hong Tuan, teaching at Thuan An Secondary School.

His family has 4 members (an elderly mother and 2 schooling-age children). Average income is 900,000 VND/person/month. Mr. Tuan's family is facing many difficulties, has no arable land, and lives on the only salary of Mr. Tuan. Four people live in a dilapidated house, the floor is flooded, the walls of damaged leaves must be covered with bamboo mulch which is obtained from a neighbor.

Because of the local government’s concern, Hau Giang Buddhist Director Board in conjunction with Hoang Phap Pagoda’s Charity Board have supported his family to build a new, more spacious house that will not be flooded during the upcoming rainy season.

The money giving Session was attended by Senior Thich Phuoc Thanh, Hau Giang province’s Buddhist Director Board, Abbot of Quan Am pagoda; Junior Thich Tam Hue; monks and Buddhists at Hoang Phap pagoda; Ms. Tran, Branch’s Executive Board, Thuan An Secondary School’s female-male Teachers.

Senior Thich Phuoc Thanh was very touched when reading teacher Hong Tuan's application, and wanted to make a meaningful contribution to the teachers who are guiding the preschool generation, the nation’s future talents.

Next, Junior Thich Tam Hue has advice to Teacher Hong Tuan, try to do good, live well, take refuge in Three Jewels, keep five precepts, practice vegetarianism, recite Buddha's name, live filial piety with your parents, get along with colleagues and neighbors to have a good life.

Accordingly, the monk gave Dharma gifts, including: the books Practice at home, Oral Karma, and Retribution for creatures killing composed by Most Thich Chan Tinh to teacher Nguyen Hong Tuan and other teachers in the School.

The group went to the countryside market to buy some snakehead fish and catfish. Monks and Buddhists took refuge, recited Buddha's name, and freed them all into the natural environment.

The monk also gave a gift of Dharma including the books named Practice at home, Oral Karma, and Retribution for Killing creatures composed by Most Thich Chan Tinh to small sellers, instructing them on how to become vegetarian, recite Buddha's name, relearse beings, repent, transform three karmas to have a living happily.
