Entering of the Teenage Retreat 2026 - Temporary Ordination for Children

Hoang Phap Pagoda organizes the Teenager summer retreat - Temporary ordination with the theme “Small lotus” amidst the atmosphere of early summer days for nearly 800 children (from 08-12 years old) to attend from June 08th - 12th, 2026.

The parents and little learners returned to the temple to register and receive name badges for the retreat in the morning of June 07th, 2026. Accordingly, the monks and volunteer members guided them to the places to eat, wash, sleep, and play. By the monks’ guidance at the main lecture hall in the afternoon, the children played together, learned the lesson on Gratitude, and had dinner.

 

To provide teenagers with a healthy environment for learning and recreation, the Teenage Retreat - Temporary Ordination is an opportunity for young learners to sow seeds of goodness and develop virtuous character by the temple's educational programs.
