Free examining and offering medicine to patients at Co Do district, Can Tho city.

On the morning of September 7th 2014 (August 14th Horse Year), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue together with the Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda, and doctors from Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh cities had an affair of charity to the poverty in Trung Hung commune, Co Do district, Can Tho city.

At Khanh Lam Pagoda, the group had free examining and\r\noffering medicine to 800 people (50,000 Ä‘ong per a portion of medicine). The\r\nJunior Venerable, monks and Buddhists of Khanh Lam Pagoda offered each one\r\na portion of gift including 5kg of rice, DVDs  â€œWisely Knowing our\r\nmind”, “Confiding to young people”, Solid walking”, etc. The representative of\r\nlocal authority expressed their gratitude and was granted a Dharma gift\r\ncontaining DVDs  â€œâ€™Only one in life”, “Sunflower 4”, “The momoire to\r\nthe Hell”, “the 46th Buddha Dharma light”.

In this charity, the group gave 800 portions of medicine (40\r\nmillion VND), 600 gifts (28 million VND). The entire fund was collected from\r\nthe contribution of Buddhists of Can Tho city and Hoang Phap Pagoda. Nearly 600\r\nDVDs were given to the poor tillers. This affair was supported facilities from\r\nBuddhist Tinh Trang in Can Tho city, Buddhist Mong H and Buddhist Ngoc Thong in\r\nHo Chi Minh city.
