Freeing of creatures at Binh My ferry

On March 15th, 2026 Hoang Phap pagoda had a rite releasing creatures at Binh My ferry in Cu Chi (formerly Cu Chi district), HCMC.

 The monks and Buddhists wholeheartedly prayed, took refuge in the Triple Gem for more than 1,5 ton of fish at the pagoda main hall on Sunday morning. After that, the mass went together to Binh My ferry, Binh My commune, HCMC to release fish into nature and respectfully prayed for them relying on the light of Buddhism. The creature release rite is organized to create opportunities for the followers participating in charitable activities. Together with the temple, we will join in Buddhist activities in the Horse year, aiming for joy and benefit for practitioners' enlightenment and society. Thanks to this, each attendee cultivates loving-kindness and compassion, actively striving for a virtuous life, harmony, and respect for the lives of all beings.
