Guiding Buddhist Etiquette to the Ashram at Pho Quang Chanting Hall in Nevada - United States

In the morning of Oct 12, 2016, the Venerable Thich Chan Tinh guided the etiquette for Buddhist to the ashram at Pho Quang Chanting Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
Etiquette for Buddhist means the should – do behaviors and manners for Buddhists including activities, postures, speech, appearance and virtues in daily life and in pagoda environment. Buddhists are encouraged to comply with the etiquette for Buddhist because it is the expression of moral and nice behaviors. Conversely, people with rude, cruel manners are not welcomed. In the etiquette for Buddhist, the Venerable guided the mass how to greet, bow, pay homage to Buddha, walk, stand, eat, drink, rest on the bed… It is necessary for Buddhists to learn and perform properly these easy and simple activities to enhance the beauty of the Buddhists. Hence the etiquette for Buddhist is essential and extremely important. Not everyone can have the chance approaching such a course. With great caring and love kindness to the rookie Buddhists, the Venerable Thich Chan Tinh explained and guided things in details to the mass at Pho Quang Chanting Hall.
Ending the session, the Venerable emphasized the importance of the etiquette for Buddhist which can help practitioners awake and part from wrong deeds, cease the craving, hatred and delusion inside, purify the mind and be ready for the next steps in practicing.
At the end of the Dharma talk, the Venerable sent his blessings and expressed his gratitude to the mass for all they did to support the delegation during its preaching trip in Nevada.
