"Means of Compassion" Charity Program.
Update: 21/10/2026
On the morning of October 20, 2026, Junior Abbot Thich Tam Truong, alongside monks and Buddhists from Hoang Phap Pagoda, visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged families in Dong Thanh Commune. The charity trip was directed by Ms. Phan Thi Tuyet Nhung, Vice Chairwoman of the VNFFC of Dong Thanh commune with the participation of representatives from the local Fatherland Front Committee.
With support from the Dong Thanh Commune Fatherland Front Committee in identifying local families in need, Hoang Phap Pagoda donated an industrial sewing machine to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Hong (born in 1986), residing in Hamlet 39, Dong Thanh Commune. Her family consists of four members: herself, her husband, and their two daughters. While her husband works as a security guard, Ms. Hong stays home to manage household chores, take their children to school, and care for her parents, who are recovering from stroke complications. This donation aims to help the family build a stable source of income and improve their living conditions. Through this meaningful support, Hoang Phap Pagoda hopes to empower Ms. Kim Hong’s family to proactively generate daily income.
