Monks and Temple Volunteers Continue Harvesting Vegetables in Binh Duong for Offerings at Hoang Phap Pagoda
Update: 08/04/2026
Monks and the mass went to the vegetable garden donated by a Buddhist family in Binh Duong to support the monastic life of Hoang Phap Pagoda in the afternoon of April 7th, 2026.
Learning how to harvest vegetables and picking fresh bundles by hand, everyone was delighted with the trip. This useful activity reminded attendees of the verse that nourishes the life of learning and harmony in the temple: "At wearing clothes, one should always think of the weaver and tailor 's labor; or eating all meals a day, one should remember the hardships of farmers." Thus, the garden of this Buddhist family is a source of income for the family, also a means of sowing merit by offerings to the Three Jewels.
