One-Day Retreat at Phap Duyen Buddhism Association, New Jersey - United States

On Sep 13, 2016, the Venerable Thich Chan Tinh and monks conducted the One-Day Retreat at Phap Duyen Buddhism Association, New Jersey, US.

In the morning session, the Venerable Thich Chan Tinh guided the Buddhist etiquette to the mass and reviewed the Buddhism fundamentals as Triratna, Five Precepts… During the talk, he shared his practical experience in the practice and encouraged the Buddhists to develop their Dharma knowledge by reading and learning varied sutras.

In the afternoon, the monks guided the mass how to sit (meditate) and recite Amitabha Buddha’s name while walking. After the rehearsal, everyone started practicing. The Retreat was followed with the discussion and Q&A session, in which the Venerable cleared up all the concerns and queries from Buddhists regarding practicing.

Ending the One-Day Retreat, the Venerable Thich Chan Tinh sent his warm regards and thanks to Buddhists in the state of New Jersey for their kind facilitation to the Dharma preaching of the delegation. In response, the representative of Phap Duyen Buddhism Association sent their gratitude to the Hoang Phap delegation for its kindness, enthusiasm and commitment travelling a large distance to turn the Dharma Wheel at Phap Duyen in New Jersey, US. The One-Day Retreat was fulfilled in the joys of all.
