Pagoda Charity Program “Means of Compassion”

Monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda and Junior Thich Tam Truong visited and presented gifts to two disadvantaged households in the locality on Nov. 19th, 2025.

At the two households receiving the gifts, there were local government officials present: Ms. Phan Thi Ngoc Quan - Member of SCPC, Chairman/C of VFFC of Hoc Mon commune; Mr. Dang Thanh Xuan - PM, the commune’s Vice C of VFFC, C of Hoc Mon commune Labor Union; Ms. Tran Thi Long - Head of the FFC of Hamlet 23; Mr. Vo Thanh An - Head of BND of Hamlet 23.

 

 After finding out the lacks of two households thanking to the support of Hoc Mon commune 's FFC, Hoang Phap pagoda visited Ms. Thach Tien's family in 30/1D hamlet 23 and Ms. Cao Thi Tuyet Hanh's family in 9/3 hamlet 23 to give each family a sewing machine worth 5,000,000 VND for their livelihood. By surveying the circumstances of each household and giving appropriate means, the pagoda wants to help residents have conditions to be self-reliant in their work, reduce immediate difficulties and stabilize their long-term income. Also, the charity program is a bridge for Buddhists to practice charity, sow good karma and join hands to support difficult families.
