Program “Means of Compassion”

unior Abbot Thích Tâm Trường along with monks and Buddhists of Hoằng Pháp pagoda participated in the "Connecting with Compassion - Hóc Môn Joining Hands for the Community" ceremony in 2026 at the Hóc Môn Commune Party Committee Hall to promote charitable affair and support disadvantaged local people on the morning of April 23rd, 2026. The charity trip included the participation of Mr. Dang Thanh Xuan - Vice Chairman of Vietnam FFC, Chairman of the Trade Union of Hoc Mon commune.

 Thanking to the support of the Hoc Mon commune's FFC, the pagoda has donated two sewing machines, each valued at 5,500,000 VND to two families: Ms. Nguyen Thi Thang, currently residing at 2/126 Hamlet 49, Hoc Mon Commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, currently residing at 1/90Q Hamlet 8, Hoc Mon Commune.

 

By providing the suitable means, the pagoda wants to help the receivers have conditions to be self-reliant in their work, reduce immediate difficulties and stabilize their long-term income.  The charity program is a connection for Buddhists to practice charity, sow good karma and join hands to support difficult families.
