July is usually thought of the month of “saving and protecting beings’ soul”; therefore, a Buddhist is always eager to do many good, blessing things to dedicate to past ancestors, paternal and maternal relatives, and also pray their current parents for good health and peaceful contentment.
 

Releasing animals at Hau River, Can Tho.

 One of the most practical deeds for doing merit is\r\nanimal release because this action is to directly save animals alive, which is\r\nthe noblest, highest worth of all species.

\r\n\r\n

 Under the instruction of Senior Ven. Thich\r\nChan Tinh, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, monks and Buddhists of Hoang\r\nPhap pagoda had a trip of freeing animals on August 24th, 2014 (lunar July\r\n29th,  Horse year).

\r\n\r\n

On the supports of local Buddhists in Can Tho city, together\r\nwith monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda joyfully and peacefully had the\r\ntrip to free animals being into the mild Hau river, at Binh Thuy, Can Tho\r\ncity. There were more 3500 kgs of the various fishes led to water from happy\r\nattendees. This is the most meaningful action in compassion spirit from\r\nBuddha’s children.
