Releasing Animals in the End of Horse Year

In harmony with welcoming the Tet’s air, everyone enjoyed the Tet’s holiday of Goat Year, in the morning of Feb. 18th, 2015 (lunar Dec. 30th, Horse Year) Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue together with Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda arrived Hoc Mon market to buy some of animals for releasing.

Weaving through currents of crowded people purchasing on the\r\nTet holiday, the Ven. Junior and Buddhists bought 361 kgs of fresh fish,\r\ncatfish, eel, frog, etc, then rented vehicles to the branch of Sai Gon River to\r\nfree them in the nature. The current was shallow, some of male Buddhists, in\r\nthe sunshine, waded down the river to release each of them. However, all group\r\nwas glad because of saving their living, helping them return to their families,\r\nlike our family‘s joyful reunion to welcome a New Year.
