To commend and encourage the practice spirit among lay followers, the Organizers’ monks will visit, present Dharma gifts, and commend the merits of families with outstanding, solemn, and creative altar setups. The selection criteria for the a Lumbini Garden include:
• A solemn and beautiful appearance.
• A large altar size creates a striking impression.
• A convenient and easily visible location with high foot traffic.
• A reasonable layout for worship, bowing, and bathing the Buddha.
• Banners, flags, and Buddha's Birthday signs displayed around the area.
• Creative ideas with artistic and spiritual significance.
• Multiple neighboring households setting up altars together, creating a unified and solemn space.
• Other aspects demonstrate the spirit of protecting and propagating the Dharma.
In deep appreciation for their devotion to the Three Jewels and honoring the birthday of Shakyamuni Buddha, all participating families will receive a Certificate of Merit and a Dharma gift from Hoang Phap Pagoda.
May the blessings of the Triple Gem protect Buddhist followers and their families, granting Buddhists peace of mind and body, fulfillment of wishes, and happiness in the wondrous light of the ten-direction Buddhas.
