Surveying a Plot of Land for Hoang Phap Pagoda in US and Delivering Dharma Talk at Thanh Luong Pagoda in Sacramento, California

In the morning of Oct 13, 2017, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh and monks from Hoang Phap Pagoda surveyed a plot of land in Sacramento, North California where has been planned to build Hoang Phap Pagoda in US to serve Vietnamese Buddhists in the region.

In the evening, based on the invitation from Abbess Thich Nu Hue\r\n Minh, he delivered a Dharma talk at Thanh Luong Pagoda (Sacramento,\r\n California).

\r\n

 During the talk, he shared about the right belief for Buddhist. According\r\n to Buddha’s teachings, Buddhist should have the right view about Buddha who\r\n is not a God giving bless/ punishment to sentient beings. Instead, each\r\n person is the owner/heir of his/her own karmas. Happiness will come in present\r\n life and future to practitioners who devotedly and properly practice and\r\n preserve the five precepts.
