Tet’s Mindset
Update: 28/01/2023
Tet is only something
That is caảed for Body, Speech, Mind, and Right Thought
The mind is like to be worldly
The idea often reigns gossips of right and wrong
Therefore, we should diligently recite the Buddha's name
Due to causes and conditions, love things and arise compassion
Love of life encapsulates in breath
Think that cultivation is necessary!
Explanation:
Body, Speech, and Mind are the three karmas of a sentient being. In other words, cultivation is controlling and observing these three karmas diligently, not to create unwholesome karma.
Right Thought includes three types of thought including: Leaving from desire, Non-Aversion, and Harmless. It means that we should not think about contaminating the influence of desire, without thinking about anger but having a mind away from anger; without thinking about the mind that harms people or things, but must have a mind away from harming people or things.
- Reciting the Buddha's name is remembering or thinking, and attentively observing the merits of the Buddha's name and the Buddha's grace. Therefore, we should recite the Buddha's name to imitate the Buddha's example.
- Compassion is a category of love to share, help and save suffering in the face of worldly misfortunes.
- Breathing is a natural response of the body, so few people care. But most of the time we do not breathe properly. Contemplation of the breath is also a practice that the Buddha taught at the beginning of time. The Buddha himself attained meditation through contemplation of the breath.)
* We sympathize with the above poem after reading the poem "The Ancient Tet of the Pagoda" by the third Dharma Lord - Most Venerable Thich Pho Tue. The following is the poem " The Ancient Tet of the Pagoda":
It is really fun about the pagoda’s Tet
Buddha’s gifts have all kinds of scents
Lang Nghiem sausages, Vien Giac cakes
Paramita sweet soup, Dharma Flower Sticky Rice
Behold the tray of Bao Tich with hundreds of flavors
There are four pairs of Diamond chopsticks
