The 16th Sun Flower Program

On Dec. 21st, 2018, Hoang Phap continues the 16th “Sun Flower Program” on the title “Happiness is Sharing”. Our main figure is MC Hanh Phuc, the winner of “The Television Host” 2011, and the excellent face in VTV Awards.

Hanh Phuc was born in 1986, he used to be MC of many TV shows like the 60s of HTV, Moving 24h of VTV, and some other shows. But he became famous by the show “Sharing Love”, broadcasting on VTV. This is a practical show which gives a lot of meaning in connecting the donors and the poor children, brings education to them.

In the show he shared a bit on his name “Tran Hanh Phuc” means Mr. Happiness. The special name reminds him to be happy and bring happiness to other people, those who have an unlucky life.

Learning Buddhism he understands the human physical body is not real, just the combination of the five aggregates, so joining organ donation after death is a meaningful job that a dead person can do for the benefit of others, and he decided to offer cornea after death.

In 2012, the doctor gave to him the bad news that he got leukemia (blood cancer). So disappointed, he realized not material things but human love is the best value. Then he went to many temples to learn Buddhism, take practice, spend his remain time to work for the benefit of people. Good deed finally gives sweet fruit: his blood cancer disappeared.

Overcome this hard time, he really found out the real value of life and changed his lifestyle. He cares more about the social charity acts, appeals to his friends and relatives together with him to help the unlucky people. He starts to take a vegetable, opens a Vegan Restaurant in Ha Noi. Now he is a vegetarian for three years. No matter how busy in the job, he still keeps to be a vegetarian, it makes him happy.
