The 74th Kid Playground

Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the 74th Kid playground for over 400 kids to attend in the joyful spirit of the Buddha's Birthday Celebration on May 24th, 2026.

After registering and receiving attendees’ badges, little learners came to the main hall to learn about Buddhists' demeanor under the guidance of the temple's monks at 7:30 a.m. Next, the children practiced singing Buddhist songs with joy in participation in the  2026  Vesak celebration and repeated the poem "The Mother-Father Grace" compiled by Most Thich Chan Tinh. After a rest period to recharge, they listened to a dharma talk on "The Story of the Buddha's Birth" delivered by Junior Thich Tam Thi.

 

Finishing the Dharma talk, the kids enjoyed a performance program and interacted with singer Khanh Van. The Tha Thứ and Từ Ái meditation session concluded the morning's spiritual practice. 

 

At 2:00 PM, monks and volunteers guided the children in solemnly performing the ritual of the Buddha Birthday and bathing the newborn statue. This was not only a glad occasion for the Great Celebration but also an opportunity for each child to learn about His life, so that each child would instill in themselves the seeds of compassion, filial piety, and gratitude by kind words and good deeds.
