The Animal Release at Can Tho Province

On April 12th, 2015 ( Lunar February 24th, 2015 Goat Year), with the permission of Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hue, all the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda as well as Buddhists in Can Tho city had a trip along Hau river to set animals free.

After having read prayers, Venerable returned nearly 4 tons\r\nof fish including catfish, carps, and so on, to the river. This deed has\r\ndemonstrated the merciful spirits of always releasing living creatures and\r\npraying for them on Buddha’s teachings. In addition, in this trip, to spread\r\nBuddhism, The Venerable gave VCDs titled such as Great Danapati Visakha, Buddhism\r\nlights, Salvations, etc, to Buddhists.
