The Dharma Lecturing at Pho Nguyen Pagoda- Dong Thap

Responding to the invitation of Superior Venerable Thich Thien Sang, Superior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh officially visited Pho Nguyen pagoda - 518/32/2 group 5, Ward 1, Dong Thap province - to have the Dharma lecture for the Buddhists in the morning of June 25th 2014 (May 28th of Horse Year).

\r\n\r\n

Buddhists have to take the Buddha as an example to\r\ncultivate. Buddha is the person who takes his own time for meditation and\r\npracticing to become Buddha fruit, not from the God or Saints granting. It’s\r\nthe same for us to practice, strive by ourselves, who follow the Buddha’s\r\nteaching to correct bad habits, action, speech, and mind in purity. When we\r\nperfect ourselves, we will become the Buddha, as well. Coming to pagoda for\r\nDharma listening, reciting, praying, chanting, meditating, etc. is just to help\r\nrecognize rightness and make merits, blessings. If we don’t change by\r\nourselves, we are not real cultivation. Practicing is modify and rectify our\r\naction and mind more and more purification, which also changes sorrow to\r\nenlightenment; human beings become the Buddha.

This is the content, which Superior Venerable presented to\r\nBuddhists in Dharma talk. Before vowing their merit for others, each person was\r\noffered a VCD of “Winds shaking small bamboos”.
